Great to see my 14 year old daughter enjoying her time on the water and my 16 year old son taking big are on the waves. A hard case would give me piece of mind in the protection from the salt environment... I have just mounted the 170 onto the side of a down hill mtb helmet and the vision is fantastic....drilled a 1/4 hole and used a 1/4 bolt to fix the camera. Easy fix....no Velcro or tape.
