You’ll need a class 10/UHS-1 MicroSD card, up to 128GB in capacity. Most brands will work fine, but we particularly recommend Sandisk and Samsung memory cards, as we’ve found them to be very reliable. Make sure to purchase your memory card from a reputable seller, as counterfeit memory cards are common.
The Ghost 4K+ has a very high capacity battery, so we’d recommend a mains-USB adaptor with an output of around 2A. This type of adaptor will fully charge the Ghost 4K+ in around 2.5 hours. Please note that laptop USB ports, USB hubs or power banks can have a lower output, so will take much longer to charge the device. .
Upgrading the Ghost 4k+ firmware is really simple, and will ensure that you're getting the most out of your camera. Download the latest Ghost 4k+ firmware above. Then format your memory card in your Ghost 4k+ settings menu, and connect the camera to your computer. Drag and drop the firmware file into the ‘root' of your memory card – place it beside, but not inside the DCIM folder. Eject the camera from your computer and power it on. You should see a ‘Firmware Upgrading' message, and after a few seconds the process will be complete.
1) Download and install “Drift Life” App from Huawei App Gallery
2) Turn on your Ghost 4K+, navigate to the settings menu, scroll to the DVKit option and turn it on. Your camera will reboot automatically, once up, when the LED above the rear screen stops flashing and is solid blue your camera is ready.
3) Open the Drift Life App on your Huawei mobile device, and tap 'Start Live Stream’, create an account if you don’t already have one.
4) On the live stream page tap the camera button. A camera list will be pop up, wait for few seconds till the Ghost 4K+ is found, tap on it to connect. you can toggle between front, rear and external Ghost 4K+ camera for your live stream.
Note：
1) If you are connecting Ghost 4K+ for the first time on step 3 , PIN code needs to be input on Drift Life App, find the code from camera rear screen when being asked on the App.
2) Huawei mobile phone system requires EMUI 10.1 or above.
The long life battery module and standard battery module are compatible with the Ghost 4K+. The LCD module is not compatible.
The remote control is not compatible with the Ghost 4K+, but you can use the Drift Life app to control the camera remotely
