A: Follow the steps below to update your Drift X5 firmware:
- Download the latest firmware file and unzip the package. You will find a file named X5.bin.
- Connect your Drift X5 to your computer using a USB cable. Once connected, a drive named “Drift Card” will appear on your computer. Copy the X5.bin file to the root directory of the Drift Card drive.
- Safely disconnect the Drift X5 from your computer and restart the camera.
- The Drift X5 will automatically detect the firmware file and begin the update process.
During the firmware update, the camera may restart automatically up to two times. Do not power off the camera, remove the microSD card, or interrupt the update process until the firmware upgrade is complete.
