A: the X5 Mini camera does not have battery inside, there have a 1500mA battery module in the package, which can provide 2 hours recording time, you can also use an external power bank to connect to the Type-C port on the cap to power the camera.

A: Yes. The Drift X5 Mini features Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) to help reduce camera shake and improve video smoothness.

Q: How do I update the firmware of the Drift X5 Mini?
A: Follow the steps below to update your Drift X5 Mini firmware:
- Download the latest firmware file and unzip the package. You will find a file named X5_Mini.bin.
- Connect your Drift X5 Mini to your computer using a USB cable, make sure there have memory card inside. Once connected, a drive named “Drift Card” will appear on your computer. Copy the X5_Mini.bin file to the root directory of the Drift Card drive.
- Safely disconnect the Drift X5 Mini from your computer, connect back to the battery module, and restart it.
- The Drift X5 Mini will automatically detect the firmware file and begin the update process.
During the firmware update, the camera may restart automatically up to two times. Do not power off the camera, remove the microSD card, or interrupt the update process until the firmware upgrade is complete.
